All our buildings are fabricated using good-grade Swedish pine (5ths redwood) taken from sustainable sources. We have our timber machined to our own pattern, which certain sawmills have come to know as the ‘Tewkesbury pattern’. This 20mm scallop finish gives a broader face to the board and an individual look to our buildings.
We use a tongue-and-groove board on all our buildings, including roofs, floors and walls, with no chip or OSB board present in our buildings at all.
We use a 44mm x 39mm framework with two corners rounded to give a nice moulded finish on the inside. All joints are double nailed.
Our 50mm x 39mm floor bearers are tanalised, or pressure treated, and set at 300mm centres.
Our garden buildings feature polyester-based roofing felt that will last 10-15 years with 135 mph wind sheer speed. Overlaps are glued down with a bitumen felt adhesive. Our roofs feature a dark granite grain finish.
All our apex buildings are fitted with roof trusses as standard.
All our buildings are treated with a solvent-based timber preserve inside and out. We use Golden Brown Cuprinol bought direct from Dulux.
All our doors are ledged and braced and our windows are siliconed and beaded front and back, with frost-resistant glass. Doors and windows can be positioned wherever you like.
Our buildings are custom fabricated to order, so any size can be accommodated, right down to the inch. We will deliver your product and erect it by hand. This is included in the price of the building as standard.
We offer a great after-sales service, including ongoing support and advice on how to keep your shed in the best condition possible. We are always at the end of the phone if you need us.
